The course covers topics like farm management, agribusiness, rural development, food policy, and international trade in agricultural products.

Students learn about market structures, price determination, and the economic impact of agricultural policies. They also explore the role of government intervention, subsidies, and trade policies in shaping the agricultural sector. The course incorporates statistical and analytical tools to assess risks, productivity, and profitability in farming and agribusiness.

Agricultural economics also addresses contemporary issues such as food security, climate change, and sustainable agriculture.
