Program Summary

Architecture as a course is a multidisciplinary field that combines art, science, and technology to design and construct buildings and spaces. It involves the study of design principles, structural systems, materials, sustainability, and history. Students learn to create functional, aesthetic, and environmentally responsible structures through theoretical knowledge and practical applications. The curriculum typically includes architectural drawing, digital modeling, urban planning, construction techniques, and building regulations. Critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving are essential skills developed throughout the program. Architecture also emphasizes the cultural, social, and historical context of buildings, enabling students to design structures that are both innovative and responsive to human needs. The course often includes studio-based learning, where students work on design projects and receive feedback from professors and peers. Internships and practical training are also common, allowing students to gain real-world experience before entering the profession. Upon completion, graduates can pursue careers in architecture, urban design, interior design, landscape architecture, and related fields.
