Program Summary

Broadcasting as a course explores the principles, techniques, and technologies involved in the transmission of audio and visual content to a wide audience. It covers various aspects of media production, including radio, television, and digital streaming platforms. Students learn about the history and evolution of broadcasting, its role in society, and the ethical and legal considerations that govern media dissemination.

The course delves into both theoretical and practical elements, equipping students with skills in scripting, editing, reporting, and on-air presentation. Technical training includes operating cameras, microphones, mixing consoles, and digital broadcasting software. Additionally, students study media regulations, audience engagement strategies, and the impact of emerging technologies on traditional broadcasting.

Practical experience is often emphasized, with opportunities for hands-on training in studio environments, internships, and live production projects. Critical thinking and communication skills are essential, as students analyze media trends, develop creative content, and understand the responsibilities of broadcasters in shaping public opinion. The course prepares graduates for careers in television, radio, online media, and related fields such as journalism, advertising, and public relations.
