Program Summary

Political Science is the study of government systems, political behavior, and the theoretical and practical aspects of politics. It explores the structures, processes, and functions of government institutions at local, national, and international levels. The course examines political ideologies, public policies, comparative politics, and international relations, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of how power and governance operate in different societies.

Students learn about the history and development of political thought, analyzing the works of influential thinkers such as Plato, Machiavelli, and Marx. The course also covers contemporary political issues, including democracy, authoritarianism, human rights, and globalization. Research methods, including qualitative and quantitative approaches, are introduced to help students analyze political data and trends effectively.

Political Science fosters critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of political dynamics.
