Program Summary
The school aims at exploring the diverse cultural and traditional architectural resources in the country, and within its immediate environment in particular. The school attempts to inculcate in the student architect the understanding of the environmental problems of the society, and makes effort towards proffering climatologically appropriate solutions to these problems. The graduate architect is trained in the art and science of planning, design, building, commissioning, maintenance, management and coordinating of allied professional inputs in the development of the environment.
The programme is flexible to allow for the changing needs of architectural education arising from changing social, economic, psychological and technological requirements.
