Program Summary
Linguistics and Igbo is a course that combines the scientific study of language with a focused study of the Igbo language, its structure, and cultural expressions. Students learn core linguistic concepts such as phonetics, phonology, syntax, semantics, and sociolinguistics, alongside the grammar, vocabulary, oral traditions, literature, and history of the Igbo people.
