Program Summary

Fisheries and Aquaculture is a course that focuses on the management, production, and conservation of aquatic organisms and environments. It covers topics such as fish biology, aquaculture techniques, water quality management, fish nutrition, breeding, and fisheries economics. Students learn how to sustainably farm fish and other aquatic species, as well as manage natural water bodies for fishing. Graduates are prepared for careers in fish farming, fisheries management, aquatic research, environmental conservation, and marine resource development.

 

 

Requirements

You need to have at least five credit passes in your O'level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), including English Language and Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects. These subjects should include Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry, and any other Science subject.
