Program Summary
Urban and Regional Planning is the study of how to design, organize, and manage the physical, economic, and social development of urban and rural areas. The course covers land use planning, housing, transportation, environmental management, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and sustainable development. Students learn to create plans and policies that promote orderly growth, livable communities, and efficient use of resources.
