Program Summary

Environmental Engineering is the application of engineering principles to improve and protect the environment. The course focuses on areas such as water and wastewater treatment, air pollution control, waste management, environmental impact assessment, and sustainable development. Students learn to design systems and solutions that reduce pollution, conserve natural resources, and promote public health. Graduates are prepared for careers in environmental consulting, government agencies, industries, and environmental research organizations.

 

 

Requirements

You will likely need to have obtained a minimum of five (5) credit passes in your West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or National Examination Council (NECO) with credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and one other science subject (like Biology, Agricultural Science, or Technical Drawing).
