Program Summary

Economics is the study of how individuals, businesses, and governments make choices about allocating scarce resources to satisfy their needs and wants. The course covers microeconomics (individual and firm behavior), macroeconomics (overall economy), economic policies, markets, inflation, unemployment, and international trade. Students learn to analyze economic data and understand economic trends, preparing them for careers in finance, policy-making, research, and business.

 

 

Requirements

You'll need five credit passes in your SSCE (or equivalent), including English Language, Economics, and three other subjects from Arts or Social Science. You'll also need a qualifying score in the UTME, with relevant subjects including English, Economics, and potentially Mathematics, Accounting, or Geography. Direct Entry
