Program Summary

Drama/Performing Arts is the study of theatre, acting, and performance techniques. The course covers areas such as playwriting, directing, stagecraft, voice and movement, and drama history. Students learn to express ideas creatively through performance, develop storytelling skills, and understand the cultural and social roles of theatre. Graduates can pursue careers as actors, directors, playwrights, educators, or in arts administration and production.

 

 

Requirements

minimum of 5 credit passes in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) or its equivalent, including English Language and a relevant Arts subject, plus other requirements specific to KUST. For direct entry candidates, two A-Level passes in Arts, Social Sciences, or Science subjects are required.
