Program Summary

Law is the study of the system of rules and principles that govern a society, enforced through institutions to regulate behavior and ensure justice. As a course, it covers various branches such as constitutional law, criminal law, civil law, commercial law, property law, and international law. Students learn legal reasoning, interpretation of statutes, case analysis, and the functioning of courts and legal systems. The course prepares graduates for careers as lawyers, judges, legal advisors, policymakers, and roles in corporate, governmental, or international legal institutions.

 

 

Requirements

minimum of five credit passes in their SSCE/GCE O'Level/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB exams, including English Language and Literature in English, obtained at not more than two sittings. Additionally, they must meet the UTME requirements.
