Program Summary

Common and Islamic Law is a course that combines the study of conventional (common) law with Islamic legal principles. It covers areas such as constitutional law, criminal law, Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), Shari’ah law, human rights, and legal interpretation. Students learn to understand and apply both legal systems in various contexts. Graduates can work as legal practitioners, judges, legal advisers, or in public service and religious legal institutions.

 

Requirements

candidates need five credit passes in Arts or Social Sciences at the O' Level, including English and either Islamic Studies or Arabic
