Program Summary
Agricultural Science and Education is a course that combines agricultural knowledge with teaching skills to prepare educators for agricultural subjects. It covers areas such as crop and animal science, soil science, agricultural economics, and instructional methods. Students learn both the science of agriculture and how to effectively teach it in schools and training centers. Graduates can work as agricultural educators, extension officers, researchers, or in agribusiness and rural development programs.
Requirements
These include having five O'Level credits in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE (O' Level) or their equivalent, with the required subjects being English Language and Mathematics. Additionally, you'll need to pass in at least two other relevant subjects, such as Biology, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, or Economics.
