Program Summary
Public and Private International Law are two branches of law that govern legal relations beyond national borders.
Public International Law focuses on the rules and principles that govern relationships between countries and international organizations. It covers areas such as treaties, human rights, international conflict, and the law of the sea.
Private International Law (also called Conflict of Laws) deals with legal disputes involving individuals or businesses across different countries, such as cross-border contracts, marriage, or inheritance issues.
As a course, it equips students with knowledge of global legal frameworks, preparing them for careers in diplomacy, international law practice, global trade, and human rights advocacy.
