Program Summary

Urban and Regional Planning is the study of land use, urban development, and the planning of infrastructure and services in urban and rural areas. The course covers topics such as urban design, transportation planning, environmental sustainability, zoning laws, and regional development strategies. It prepares students for careers as urban planners, regional planners, environmental consultants, policy advisors, or in government agencies, where they work on designing and managing the growth and development of cities and regions.

 

 

Requirements

candidates need a minimum of five credit passes in their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics, with additional credits in subjects relevant to the program, such as Geography, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
