Program Summary

Food Science and Technology is a course that focuses on the study of the physical, chemical, and biological properties of food and the application of scientific and engineering principles to food processing, preservation, packaging, and distribution. It covers areas such as food microbiology, nutrition, food safety, quality control, and product development. The course prepares students for careers in the food industry, quality assurance, research and development, regulatory agencies, and food safety management.

 

 

Requirements

minimum of 5 O'level credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology/Agricultural Science. Additionally, they must perform well in the UTME in relevant subjects like English, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, and Physics
