Program Summary

Sociology is a course that explores the structure, development, and functioning of human society. It examines social relationships, institutions, cultures, and behaviors to understand how they shape individuals and communities. Topics include family, education, religion, class, gender, and social change. The course equips students with insights into social issues and prepares them for careers in social work, research, public policy, and community development.

 

 

Requirements

Minimum of 5 credit passes at SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB or equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics. These credits should be obtained in not more than two sittings. Sit for the UTME and select UNILORIN as your first choice.
