Program Summary

Mechatronics Engineering is an interdisciplinary field that combines mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, and control systems to design and develop smart systems and automated machines. As a course, it trains students to work with robotics, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems, preparing them for careers in automation, robotics, manufacturing, and advanced technology industries.

 

 

Requirements

Candidates need to possess a minimum of five credit passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), or General Certificate of Education (GCE) at Ordinary Level, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and another science subject (e.g., Biology, Agricultural Science). These credits should be obtained at not more than two sittings.
